“On the model of other great biennials, we decided in more minimalist approach. One private gallery, one independent art center, one artist-run space, one public intervention, a carefully chosen number of artists and extremely powerful concepts. On our idea of cooperation and collaboration, we decided to work with this type of venues. “Edit Your Future”, the concept of BB8 will be like essence in a small jar and the route of the biennial will become a visiting path of the eclectic areas of Bucharest.”, says the curators.
The 8th edition of Bucharest Biennale will take place May 17 - July 08, 2018. Opening day for professionals and press will be May 17. The list of participating artist will be published early May and contains artists from 12 countries.
